Hood scoop gayness.

The previous owner of my 240 sadly put two of those black hood scoop monstrosities on the WHITE hood of my car! WTF?! Anyways, friends tell me that getting that sticky shit off my hood will take the paint down with it, anything i can use to get those scoops that won't kill my paint? I don't have money for a new paint job..later gurus.

a few tblspns of mild soap and about 2 hours of labor w/ plenty of elbow grease...

lots of degreaser.. expensive heavy duty shit too. there are lots of chemicals out there to break that kinda stuff up and won't hurt your paint but you'd have to put a sealant on afterwards anyways. there's a chemical i used to use on cars that just said '900' on it.. go to a bodyshop and they'll tell you exactly what you need, and you can ask about the 900 stuff although they might just look at you like you've got a shit stain on your forehead

get adhesive remover that is what we use at my dads used car lot to get the gay shit some people put on their cars like that.

body shop supply stores also sell an eraser wheel. You connect it to a drill and it rubs off the tape w/ out messing up paint, as look as you don't press too hard..
