89 Deville flashing E on fuel display stays on

The fuel data center has a constant flashing E on quanity display. when I added 13 gallons I thought it would act normal, but it still flashes E. Any ideas will help. Thanks Dave

There's something wrong in the electrical wiring. Either that or your gauge in the fuel tank is stuck up.

Locate and replace body control/climate control module. It is located behind the glove box. This will fix the fuel guage, radio, and or climate control conflicts. If u don't replace this fairly immediately...it could lead to more serious electrical problems.
