what are your opinions on the sts downstream turbo kits? i think that they are a very proficient way to get power without having to do much to the engine and you don't need to go through all that fabricating like you would have to do if you can't find a turbo manifold of the correct intercooler piping, etc.

funny you should bring this up i was looking at them not long ago, but i think this thread should be in the forced induction forum, maybe a mod can move it ?

seriously... look up how a turbo works and then decide for yourself if putting the turbo that far away from the engine is the most efficent way to do it...
also, think about the extra friction and pressure drops for the intake side.
