Google earth

Anyone do this? It is pretty damn fun. Google "Google earth" There is a thing to download that lets you tour the earth via satellite images. creepy yet cool. I can see my car in my driveway :)

yea i was screwing around with this once, one time my buddy got his college roomate's name and phone number, not sure if its the same program, but we were able to find pictures of him, his family, and his house with a phone number.

Thats a pretty fun program to mess around with. Although it doesnt really clearly show my driveway well enough to where i could point out my truck. But im pretty sure the black mass in front of the house would be it.

i love this program. i can see the back yard of my old house in california.... and my car in front of the house still! aww, my sad little volvo....

it's cool when you turn on the 3-D buildings and you tilt it so you can actually get a sense of what the city may be like.

i also like the webcam feature.

Yea I book mark all my friends etc... It's pretty sweet.

Btw - What does your name stand for? D_link as in the wireless chip (which I own :smile:)

what they need to do is make one of these with a live feed, i could sit there for hours following certain cars =D, i couldn't imagine the fun we would have screwing with friends leaving their house!

Cool stuff. I guess where I live isn't cool enough for clear resolution pics though.

my sister just introduced me to that, pretty badass. i use it instead of mapquest if i gotta find out how to get somewhere, but mostly i just try to find buildings i know and look at the tops for a little while :screwy:

I'm to far out into the middle of nowhere for high res pics.
