How do you open the rear door panel?
I got most of it open except the top
part, everything from door handle and
above. I think it's the door handle.
How do you get the door handle off?
Window slid down and not working.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you
in advance.

I just went thru replacing a rear door window regualtor.

The door panel comes off fairly easy, here are the steps:
1. Remove the door lock knob located on the top of the panel, it screws off.
2.Remove the trim piece for the door lock mech there's a single screw holding it on.
3. Pop off the plastic plug located on the inside door pull it's round and just pops off with a flat driver.
4.Remove the screw located under the round plug you pull off in step 3.
5.Remove the trim around the door latch control, it just pops out with a flat driver.
6. Remove the screw located behind the door latch trim you removed in step 5.
7. Now you must pop off the panel by starting at the bottom working your way around the panel. There are 6 plastic clips that pop in and out of hole around the outer edgr of the panel. Use a wounder bar of similar flat bar tool to pry off the panel. Warning !!! Cover any metal tools with tape to protect your paint. Also only pry when the tool in next to a clip.

8. At this point the panel is only held on at the top by 2 clips and a grove located next to the window glass.

9. Pull the bottom of the panel out about 4 inches and gently hammer the bottom of the panel straight up, this will pop the panel out of the groove and 2 metal clips.

10 . The panel is off and you only need to disconnect the door lock cable and window switch. ( I didnt need to disconnect to speaker, but you could.

11. The window regulator is driven via the electric motor thru a cable and pully setup. These are usally the weak point in the system. On mine the cable came off the pully. Do not waist your time trying to repair one of these units. A repalcement runs $55-80.

12. To remove the the unit you must use a torqe driver and remove only 2 screws that hold the motor in place.

13. Now the hard part...but not that hard, you must drill out the 4 rivets that retain the unit to the door. !!!! Chosse a bit smaller than the rivet!!!

14. The unit pop right out once the rivets are out.

To install reverse this process...I'm tired of tying, Hope this helps.

Ok I forgot to add the final steps:

15. You will need to disconnect the window from the regualtor, lower the window and you will see how the window has a metal holder attached to the bottom. There sitting in the metal holder is a white nylon piece held in place by a black plastic clip. Pop off the clip from the top. Dont lose it!

16. Now raise window back up, start by pushing it up from the bottom then stand up and sandwich the glass between your two plams and raise it fully.

17. Now you can remove the regulator unit.

18. I would prop-up the glass with wood or it could come crashing down .$$$$$$$
