I bought a jeep cherokee a few months back ran perfect for a while i let over heat blew a head gasket changed all that and have put nermous other parts on it and no just recently i some how have a bent push rod and i belive the back valvue is messend up or something aorund that i was wondering if anyone knew if i could get a bottom end kit or something of that nature (with gaskets bearings and the works in it)
I would just junk it but the interior is nice and i paid to little for it not to fix it up
by the way its a 1996 Cherokee Country inline 6 4wd 120,000miles

It sounds like you want to keep this Jeep so you may want to consider this. I've used their engines before and they are very nicely done and you can't get a 5 year / 100,000 mile warranty anywhere else that I know of.

Honestly if funds allow forget gas prices i'd go with a stroker kit making it 4.6 or 4.7L
just looked at the 2nd link poster search ebay you can find a stroker kit for less should have everything needed anyway and more power never hurts.
