Hey guys what type of tranny fluid to u recommend for our cars, Im planning on just some sort of 20w-50, should i go synthetic? Lemme know =]

Are you talking about manual or auto transmissions ? I assume if you talking about manual transmissions than your talking about the gear oil. When i changed my tranny and clutch i put 90w gear oil back in the tranny. Although i don't think that it really matters too much, i know people that just normal motor oil in it and have no problems. If your talking about a automatic than i would only reccomend putting the Honda transmission fluid in.

Its a manual, and I just dropped some 20w-50 in Ill see how it goes and post some results.

The honda workshop manual says:
10W-30 or
10W-40
capacity is 1.8l

The 20W-50 will probably be too thick, ruducing your fuel economy and acceleration.

It is a little sluggish, but I live in Hot Arse Modesto where in the summer Im gonna need the extra thick sludge.

i was amazed when i read that in my manual. but that is what it says...and so that is what i did. no problems :D
