Well, our good colleague "csaxon" told us NONE of the 1999 radios had a code. But I don't know what year yours is.
The dealership told me they have a master code (which they won't give me, of course) and they can reset the code (for whatever their minimum charge is - 40 bucks or so, imagine).

Do you know what model radio you have and if it really has a code?

It sounds like he DOES have a code, csaxon. Are you SURE the 1999s don't?
Still, even if they do, there's not a lot I can do about it.

vl150000 do you see the words "anti theft protection" anywhere on the radio? Can you describe the radio? ie.. does it have a cd player or cassette deck? There's a serial number or model number on the faceplate of the radio. I'm trying to determine the model radio you have.
AccordCodger you do not have a security code.
You can get the code from the dealer. Talk nice to the parts guy and he may help you out. There are a couple of ways to save the code when you disconnect the battery, but the cost to get the electrical parts may exceed the cost of paying the dealer to reset it. Let me know.

Interesting site. Not sure what it has to do with the thread, though.
