if u are talking about the part that sits high then no, that is your gas tank, if u are talking about where the t tops sit at i would still say no because if u cut into the floor u will go through the car and be looking at the ground, now if u are talking about that lid that can flip up and down, then yes u can put speakers in that i seen it done. your best bet is to get a stealth box where it puts your box in the wheel well in the trunk where your jack and spare is, or dump the t top rack and get a custom box made for that spot. thats what i may do or get 2 stealth boxes... i like my t top rack alot but i will lay them in the back if i have 2

I also have 2 kenwoods in the door and 2 in side panels, and a pretty nice stereo. My dad calls me a nigger though, cause of all the bass(wearing baggy clothing does not help this). ohwell, dont see him much, so really doesnt bother me.

If you want to keep your truck space for you t-top this is what I did. The box is made out of fiberglass and it hit hard for a 10 in sup. Ths sub is a alpin r 10 and the amp is alpine also.

I have a JL 10" sub setup like goldz28's but my amp is just chillin' on top of that hump. I want to hide it behind the spare tire but it's a bitch trying to custom make a bracket to hold the amp, plus the amp will probably cook back there, maybe I can mount it like his hmmmm.... anyways I just have velcro on the bottom of it (but not on the carpet) it helps keep it from sliding but still worthless. I gotta do something else, I'm just lazy.
This setup is perfect for me, gives me a little punch when I want it, but if you're huge into stereos or music you will definately want more. Just ditch the t-top rack all together, do you really take them off that often anyways? When you do just lay them in the back or leave them at home.
