actually the 5.3 is listed as a 325 according to the gm service manual

It is interesting they couldn't find a Ford to put the Avalanche up against (by the way, I'm really a closet Avalanche Lover...If you're gonna move...stay with Chevy!!!).

As I recall it is actually a 327, 5360 CC, at one time it said just that on the Chevy.com specifications page. The Dodge wins in my book, I mean, its an Avalanche guys... *barf*. I know some folks like 'em, but seriously...

:flipa: No... it's still a dodge. No contest there. So, tell me, why is an Avalanche SOOOO much different than a 1500 Crew Cab with its tiny bed? And it is actually a 325

I wasted several hours of my life on that stupid website, then I started getting beat bad by stock Oldsmobile cutlass's and crap. It's not how good your vehicle looks or how much time/sweat/money you put into it....its how many e-friends you make on it. Complete crap!!!!! Anyway...if I can still log onto my account...I'll vote for you twice. :biggrin:

I voted Avalanche, I say so what if he talks his truck up a little or maybe he just doesnt know any better. It took me a while to come around to the Avalanche, I started liking it more when they got rid of the plastic crap everywhere. And i happen to own a dodge also, i still prefer my silverado but my magnum gets better MPG (V-6 3.5) I dont think the Hemi is all its cracked up to be. Just my :2cents:
