My car died.

Damnit! I spent 4 hours this morning detailing my engine, then I drove it around for about 10 minutes no problem whatsofrickinever. Then, when I left to come to work, it died like 12 blocks from my house. Checked everything I could think of. Its not the battery, cuz it wants to turn over. I don't think its the distributor, cuz after I cleaned the engine, I dried the cap really good before driving it. The only things I messed with while I was cleaning was the battery tray, the battery ground cable, and the distributor (as mentioned above). I put everything back where it belongs, but It still won't start. It cranks and the exhaust pops...
I'm hoping it's just something that got wet and just needs to dry out...
Any other ideas?!
P.S. The engine bay is cleaner than I've EVER seen it. :D

Give it a few hours to let and dry out a bit. I often hear of people having problems after they hose everything down real good. Give it a few hours and go back and give it a try. Do you have power to everything ? If not than the ground cable/strap may need played with.

I'm hoping it'll be all dried out when I get off of work... I just hope the car (and all it's goodies) are still there when I get off at 10:30pm.
Didn't leave it in the best part of town.
