integra smoke

Hey wondering if someone can help. Going to buy a gsr off a guy but he says the engine just got rebuilt 1000miles ago but around 4500rpms it smokes. is this something to be concerned about or is it normal engine break in period.

no - that is not normal.
sounds like rings are bad.
do not buy that car.

if its still smoking after 1000 miles, then, i would assume a bad rebuild. compression and leakdown for accuracy.
