I just bought a skunk2 intake manifold for my 1995 acura integra. Me and my friend thought we could do it ourselves. It seems like we did everything right, except now when I start my car it starts reving on its own. We couldn't figure it out. I think it might be some kinda vac problem, but anyway we put the factory manifold back on. Now it does the same thing only it doesnt rev as high.

best idea get a photo or 2 of it then look at a helms chiltons etc or search Honda tech for a photo I agree it sounds like vaccum.

If it doesn't remdey your problem just post again!

check all vac lines and check all gasket contacts for leaks.

you did use a new intake manifold gasket and throttle body gasket...............right?

u didn't plug up the extra hole on the side of the intake manifold (driver side) theres an extra hole for older style manifolds, plug it off and u should be fine, and make sure none of ur vac lines are broken, and u didn't move ur adjustment for your throttle cable
