You bought coilovers that cheap? Bad move, don't be surprised when your shocks give out on you. You should never buy cheap parts for important things like suspension or your engine/drivetrain (including short shifters). You should buy a better filter and throw the cheap one away, you'll be happy if you do. An intake is an intake (unless you have a high hp setup anyways), it's the filter that matters.

whats wrong with ebay alluminum short shifters? I got mine from ebay and it works great except that it came with no bearing spacer. So all i did was throw in some swiss skateboard bearings(sealed of corse) and a bearing space(from my skateboard) and walla... oh and i cut the legnth of the shaft from the ball to the knob about 1/4 to 1/2 way down and put my ball(wood to match my momo wheel) on with the set screw and havent looked back since. Got "JDM" side markers also lol about a year ago and still havent put them in should before they are not cool anymore.LOL joking but still want to put them in soon, but they will only light up when the blinker is on. There goes my sleeper...

I've heard a lot of people breaking their cheap short shifters, even know someone who had it happen. Maybe it's just a personal preference thing, but I'd never buy something cheap that is needed to actually move my car.
You can hook up the sidemarkers to light up with your head lights instead. You just wire them up that way instead of with the turn signals.

I have seen First had some Cheap Short Shifters Break, that's why I have a B&M.
Springs, why mess around with cheap 70$ Springs when you can get Good stuff like H&R for 130$
Some stuff you just don't Skimp on... Suspension and Shifters are some in my book.

all understandable, in fact my buddies ebay shifter actually fell out cuz the ball wore away so bad from the plastic cup thing inside, but then he didnt use enough grease on the ball when he installed it. But i wouldnt buy coilovers or springs off ebay unless they were a name i knew and trusted. But breaking the shifter? DAMN how hard do you need to throw the thing into gear? So now i think about it...it probably hasnt happened to me cuz i already cut mine down half way so theres nothing to break off, and its that much shorter of a throw for me, just a flick of the wrist.

$50 APC short shifter... hasn't broken yet... :uhoh:
You can also wire your side markers to stay on with the headlights but and still blink... just tap the back corner bulb connections.

I'v broken factory shifters out of the transmission before (on real cars... where the shifter is hooked directly to the tranny ;) ).
