I have a 94 LTC and the charging light remains faintly on. I have located a fuse in the fuse compartment under the hood, a 10 amp in location J (described on the fuse index as "ALT") which is blown. Upon replacement, the new fuse blows as well. It does not blow until engine is running. I cannot find any wiring diagrams to indicate what this feeds and am struggling. I have taken the alternator to shop and they checked it out and indicated that it was good. The battery is brand new.

Posted At LOL. Thanks for the tip. Got a message that the voltage regulator might be bad. 40 dollars later and still have the problem.

have your alternator checked, the one on my 90tc was charging but just barely the light would only ocassionly come on. the 95amp alt was only charging at 30, i had it rebuilt last week and she is doing fine now
cost of rebuild was $68.00
