Porsche 944 Turbo vs USDM WRX

Just kinda interested as to who you think would win at the track...
I don't know much info on the cars but here's what I do know
Porsche: 1989 944 Turbo
247 hp (217 on some older models I think)
250 ft/lbs
Curb weight: 2,758 lbs
0-30 = 2.0; 0-40 = 3.0; 0-50 = 4.1; 0-60 = 5.5; 0-80 = 8.8; 0-100 = 13.6; 0-120 = 22.1
1/4Mile: 13.5
Skidpad .9gs (on stock tires)
Subaru: Impreza WRX USDM
227 hp
217 ft/lbs
Curb Weight: 3,085 lbs
0-30 2.0 sec, 0-40 3.2 sec, 0-50 4.5 sec, 0-60 5.8 sec
0-70 8.6 sec, 0-80 10.8 sec, 0-90 13.5 sec
0-100 17.5, 0-110 21.9, 0-120 28.2
1/4 mile 14.7 @ 93mph
Skidpad .86gs (with optional tires)
Any how, theres the numbers, looks to me like Porsche would come out on top, but what do you guys think?

When you say "Track Battle" do you mean the 1/4 mile?, Through the twisties?, or something else?
The 944 Turbo would win, hands down in the quarter. Twisting roads and such, then I think the WRX would probably take the win.
I chose the WRX, because IMO it gets the job done. Maybe not the quickest in a straight line, but otherwise an exceptional car.

Quite honestly, I would have to say they would probobly be about even.
with maybe the WRX having a slightly better advantage. (were talking the non-USDM cars here aye? becasue USDM, both would be beaten by my honda! long live emissions laws!)

Just saw the USDM in brackets.
OK, then the 944. It might be older, but I have seen both cars racing time trials at a track, and the 944 was deffintly the faster car.

well i think that given the porsches age, it will not be as strong. unless its maintained really well. but if age has nothing to do with it, i will still pick the REX cause its newer technology.

In stock trim, the wrx would beat the 944 on the autoX course

Porsche for shure and they are very strong cars no matter how old they are I've seen 30 years old Porsches with regular maintenance driving around as daily drivers and reliable as hell!
