haha yea well i posted earlier... like middle of July that i crashed my 240. (still not my fault). well i just got a new car with the 3 grand for my 240 and i got a 95 camaro RS... yea i know slow but its nice until graduation this year.

however lucky me the insurence company for some reason isnt takeing the car away at least it dont seem like they are intending too (strange). but im gonna fix up the 240 so when i get rid of the camaro, so i got the car and a truck (grad. prestent) which is nice for the harsh winters.

i was wondering also how much it would be for the headlights like the 300zx since i have to redo the whole front end im figureing on doing a little cosmetic to the car...

It's ganna cost alot to do Z32 lights on a 240.

I dont think a S32 conversion wil too expensive nor costly..just my 2 cents. I think since the headlights are really close it will just look like a ABFlug conversion to flat headlights.

Well, it is your car, you should have the freedom of doing what you like. But I personally think the stock front end looks great with a 89-90 lip. Nice, clean and not flashy.

Keep on dreaming!

I would imagine this would be very expensive to do... headlight lamps would need fabricated mounts.... etc.... and in the long run you may as well do a whole front end conversion... but then again the Z32 is a bit wider than any S13-S14.... pfft. You are better off doing an S13 Silvia conversion or S15 conversion depending on your year 240SX....

If anyone has done a Z32 front conversion I'd love to see it!

Sil-Eighty S15

que?

Anyways, why don't you just look at some fixed headlights that'll kinda of give that Z32 look, but ofcourse it wont be the same. I forgot who makes those, they're exspensive though, I know that....um, EastBear maybe?

you could buy 2 sets of projectors (one high beam, one low), take out the popup assembly, make some brackets for the lights, then find some plexi for a cover and maybe some plastic to cover everything behind the actual lights.. the only difficult thing there would be the covers

yea i was thinkin about doing something like d-bo said... my boyfirend is like really good for some reason with electrical stuff and fabricating his own stuff... he figured out how to do custom sleepy eyes on the 240 with like no help... i mean i got a whole year to figure this out and i have an automotive garage and body shop avalible for my use so i'll figure something out...

i dont want it to look like a 300zx i just want the flush headlights not the pop ups idk what to call that ...sorry

there is a 180sx converted to a 300zx somewhere. It was in some crazy japanese magazine. I thought i saw it on here a long time ago. To be honest i thought it looked like poop. It just didnt look right. To long and wide. It was an all around conversion though. With the vg30dett.

check out my headlight setup. i personally think it looks good and not only that, but its very functional. there aren't many lights around here and the city lights have no effect either so i was happy to finally have some lights that let me see deer before they ran across the road

yea... it's basically the same idea but sold as a kit. It's got 4 projectors and the housing to go with it along with an acrylic cover that imitates the OE headlight unit of the pop ups.

dunno... doesn't look that sleek to me. I'd stick to the sleepy's =] or go with a S13 silvia front end... those projectors are hot!

alright i def agree the silvia front end on a 240 looks insanely nice (sil40) but its a bit of $ for parts and labor to get everything painted and all.

nice thing about the custom headlights if u do the projectors in the stock housing ... im sure it would like no other car out there .. and nobody would recognize the front end of the car making it unique yet sexy
