My 2000 driver's seat is developing a tear on a side seam. It is vinyl at that point. Obviously, the leather chairs are not cheap!!! Does anyone have experience with this one?

I've also got this problem. I've got an '02 LT with leather seats and I noticed a small tear in mine a few weeks ago. I've seen leather patch stuff advertised on TV in the past. It was like a paste that dried to a patch. Anybody ever used this or know if a way to repair a tear in leather?

IMO, anything sold on tv for $19.99 isn't worth $19.99.

i would find some custom shop that does car interiors and let them fix it. it may cost a bit more than doing yourself but will look better also. or you could invest in some nice seat covers. nineball just had a post about some seat covers that priced at 200 to 300 i think that are made for direct fit of the seats for these trucks.

Yeah I saw the post about the seat covers but I like the leather and I don't like the idea of covering them up just for a tiny (less than half inch) little tear. I'll looking into the custom shop idea though thanks.
