okay ive been reading the paper that we get on the ship, now its not too expensive but im starting to notice a pattern with the 737's of boeing.... what the hell is goin on, 1 crashes, then another a week after, then one more a week after that, and now yesterday another crashed... ALL WERE 737's NONE were able to be explained as to why it crashed!!!! WAHT IS GOIG ON!!?!?!?! MY ADVICE: DONT GET ON A DAMN 737 AGAIN! if you plan on flying somewhere get a dc10 or a 747.

What the hell are you spouting off about???

And 737's are an old design and those were probably all older aircraft. Can't blame the manufacturer for the operator's maintenance track-record.

Sorry, my bad... just read that you said don't get ON a 737 again.

Second that. Drive your maro, more fun, and you can't fall like 30,000 feet.

DC-10's are almost nonexistent anymore. FedEX has some and the US Air Force has KC-10's (Aerial Refuelers, gas stations in the sky) they can carry 175,000 pounds cargo or 300,000 some pounds of fuel. I work on them :D AF Cadillacs! Smooth ride, easy to work on, big as hell. They're DC-10's converted over to military jets. Not one crashed in the 30 years they've been flying, but one did burn on the ground cuz of dumb maintenance practices lol

hey camaro guy thats what i went to school for when i first joined the airforce, didnt do it long though, and when the hell did this become the damn boeing forum?? now unless one of u crazy bastards grab some boeing parts and put them on your camaro i dont think we need threads about them unless we are in the open forum...and who the hell flys on those old ass planes anyway...fly air tran from now on they have a newer fleet.

 One thing that i've come to understand Philly is that the Camaro is like a whole forum in itself, thats why this isnt posted in like the political part of the forum, basicly because we're all comfortable with each other and dont feel like posting it somewhere else.

the KC-10 is fun as hell to work on, soooo easy. And we fly all over the place, I just got back from a trip to Las Vegas :) So many drunk girls out there! I almost feel bad that we didn't take advantage of any of them hehe. Nah I'd never do that, But it's fun being able to travel around the world and get paid for it. I had my 21st birthday in Spain. Bumped into my old Best friend from high school in Hawaii. Good times....good times

hell you can put a whole fleet of camaros in the back of a dc-10/kc-10

the plane would just be limited on space, but you can fit two 18 wheelers in there side by side with space for a few more cars. It'd just be hard because our cargo door is on the side of the plane, it doesn't open up like the C-5, 141, 17, etc.

 One thing that i've come to understand Philly ....

One thing I've come to understand is that there isn't much Philly hasn't done, and not many places he hasn't lived.

that is verry true, i get bored quick. i went in as a jet engine mechanic, i wasnt lucky to get the kc 10 i ended up on kc 135 r's...they sucked ass.. the only cool one was the 2 we had that were fitted to refuel the blackbird, but the boom stations in the rear were great places for naps. just lay down in the back looking at the ground...i have great pics of us refueling f 18's when we were doing sorties in puerto ricco, they took the ones i had of the blackbird refueling, they said i couldnt have them, the stealth ones as well. after that i did the search and rescue thing and that was fun as hell untill a brother took 2 bullets....then i decided ill be safe and became a cop lol. now im a civilian and i work in the damn hospital with all the fine chicks...life has been good 2 me

sounds like a good time. It's awesome watching the refuels on the 10, but we have seats in the back we can't lay down. We have 4 bunks for us though during the flight. And there's a lot that we can't take pictures of either, I do have pics of the 117 though :D Not sure what I want to do as a civilian yet but probably going to go national gaurd or reserve. Still deciding, I have 3 years left.
