Hello,
Im looking to replace the stock exhaust on my 96 caprice 9c1.. looking for suggestions, Id like to give some grumble, but not to excessive, ive been looking at some custom exhausts (stainless) on the impala superstore site but there are so many to choose from, and the last time I took a car to the local muffler shop and told them to give my olds hust grumble, it went "humble" when they were done.. :disappoin
Any suggestions would be helpful, :feedback:
oh yeah I fixed the air pump and replaced the air pump kit for far less than the dealer was charging for just the pump... thanks for all your help and suggestions.. :bananasmi

Pete - which model Flowmaster is that and how loud is the interior sound compared to the OEM?

Im pretty shure it’s a 40 series flowmaster. Which one I don’t know, there are two models, 40 series original flow and 40 series delta flow. The delta flow gives the same amount of flow with a softer more mellow tone.

I would go with a flow master, They sound good and you can get different series for how loud you want it.

It's the 40 series Flowmaster. As for sound inside the car, its noticably louder, and stronger sounding, but its not obnoxious.
