Well, today is my aniv. My wife and I have been married 8 years and this is the first year that we haven't been able to go out and have fun. My truck is in the shop burning up our savings, both my wife and I have to work and my babysitter is sick and unable to baby sit our 3 year old. Now my wife and I can't even spend "quality time" :evillol: . Sometimes life makes you want to slap the piss out of someone or go on a shooting rampage or something.
Ok, I feel a little better now. I just had to bitch for a few minutes.

Hey congrats on 8 years. Unfortunately that's probably more than what the average marriage lasts. Things happen, just plan on a doing something with her in like a week when things go back to normal.

Congrats
Sorry to hear you couldn't go out though. I watch my little bro on my rent's anniversary. They just celebrated the big 20.

Thanks. We are planning on attempting to do something next weekend. And Clawhammer your right about that, most of our friends have been married twice or at the least been divorced.

Hope it goes well. All my friends from my younger years(being 14, not many years) there parents have split up. The closest four friends I have, there parents have split up. Really makes you think of how things have changed from say 30 or so years ago.

Yeah it is pretty sad to hear stuff like that. Makes a young person think if they want to get married. Seeing as how 1 out of every 2 marriages ends in divorce.

the #1 reason why marriages fail is b/c the other person is selfish. I've only been married for 6 months and trust me, it hasn't been easy street. But I have learned that it's best to yield to some things, not all things. If I always wanted to have things my way, I'm sure I wouldn't be married now. Just remember everyone, don't be selfish. And whatever you do, NEVER FIGHT ABOUT MONEY!!!! That's the most idiotic thing to argue over. If you have a budget and stick closely by it, you'll never have to argue over money.
