Headlights....Jeep

Hey all I know that this doesnt really have anything to do with camaros but I know a few of you's have one so I thought that I'd post this...I have a '92 jeep cherokee laredo with a 4 in lift. Its my baby! But then again...so is the mud that comes with it! lol..andy ways....I was in checkers drive-thru and I was talking with my BF and I am not really paying attention but catch the back of the caddy in front of me lighting up and going to dark I am like WTF so as I am looking at it I notice my headlights are turning off and on by themselfs????? could this be a relay?? the headlights are already very dim and have water about a 1/8 inch pooled up in the bottom of the lights. I was going to get H4s after my lift and tires but it as been pushed to the front of the line so I was thinking of getting the silverstars anyone have this how good do they work??

Silverstars work good, very bright, but I'd make sure to get that water removed. Those bulbs heat up to over 5000k, and moisture like that will probably make them burn out pretty quick. As for why there going in and out, I don't know. Good luck.

Shoot, every silverstar I've bought blows after about 4-5 months. I finally got tired of them blowing and just bought the Xenon conversion lights with the blueish tint. Go with those if you can. Check eBay, that's where I got mine.

If you get any grease (even that which naturally occurs on your fingers), or moisture on the bulbs they will burn out prematurely due to their extreme temperature.

yeah, I was aware of that last time I installed them, in which case I ended up wearing vinyl gloves. It's all good though, I like my Xenons. Especially since they were the same price as two new silverstar's.
