change from fuel injecton to carburetor

i have a 1991 2.6 ltr fuel injected engine out of a isuzu pickup.i want put this in my 1994 isuzu pickup which has a carbureted engine in it now that is knocking bad.does anyone know if it is possible to change the 2.6 to a carburetor and put in or is it possible to set up the existing system to except the fuel injected engine without major modifications. :)
