Guy in the Ferrari looks down when he shifts? lol He shifts awefully slow too and hit the rev limiter for a second or two....Thinking maybe this Japanese-made video was made to show the NSX looking good? lol ;)

That's what I'm thinking. They deffinately were not well-matched drivers. Why the hell a "professional" driver would be looking down at the shifter repeatedly is beyond me.

Maybe it's because he's not used to driving a left hand drive car. I couldn't tell who the driver was, but that was definently from Best Motoring. So if it was that old guy, then yeah he's not a good driver when doing ¼ mile runs. I saw one video where they were testing the different NSX's and another guy got the same car almost a second faster than that old guy. :dunno:

I had someone try to translate what he says in Japanese and it translates to somthing like "I am an idiot" or along those lines.

the nsx appears to be geared better for the 1/4. i noticed that the ferrari started pullin towards the end.

The old guy you are talking about is Gan San and he should be treated with respect. Yeah he is old, but he has won alot of japanese championships and in most of the best motoring videos he kicks ass

Thats what I thought too. I think I watched a vid not too long ago w/ him driving a Skyline and pulling on a AWD TT Porsche pretty hard. I figured itd be a good race but the old guy was hitting shifts like a madman. Does he race in the JGTC?
