need help!

hey all, I've got a major problem. I went to go add motor oil to my car and antifreeze since they were both low today. However with the hood open, I started the car, then after a minute or so, my headers get EXTREMLY HOT and from the bottom of the header u can see like light smoke lifting! I don't know what's causing it! Are there any other fluids I should check? It's driving me insane!

mine did that when oil got down there, and it fried :)....lol. Nothing every really happened, depends......do you have any loose fluids?

i dont think so, i did notice that im a LITTLE above the 2nd dot on my dipstick, so i wonder if its over flowing the pressure now and burning...

what other fluids should i check?

sure it just isnt oil that spilled on the exhaust and its burning off?dont forget to spray it down with some brake cleaner after your done especially if there is a flex pipe in the way although i cant remember of there is one on the civic since its been so long since ive been under one.

it might be, imma let the car sit over night and see if i notice any fluids gettin leaked.. if nothing ill give the car a drive and report back to you guys... thanks!
