Hi!
My 95 4.3 V6 Astro starts great - no problem there. But once it warms up a little it runs terrible.
There is no power and it shakes on acceration. Seems fine once you get up to speed and hold.
It started out when it got really warm 15-20 min, now it only takes about 2-5 mins and it starts doing this.
I've been told maybe a crank sensor???
One fellow said it was the wires. we checked - they all looked new and the plugs were just alittle white but very new and normal looking. (we only had this van for 2 months) It passed its emmission test in Nov 04 (Ontario)
I orginally thought it was dirty gas, so fuel injector cleaner was put in.
It ran great when we got it - lots of power.... but now its a joke, trying to take off or speed up.
Help!

Lets look at this...Crank sensor....Crank.....Sensor. If it starts must not be that... Next, have you retrieved any codes from the DLC(data link connector). Auto Z_ne and Adv__ce Auto DO code checks for free. If there are no codes, Look at the ignition control module. If you can pull that out, another free check at the above named places. Also look at the condition of the Idle speed control valve see how dirty that is. That the cheapest way to start without having to go to the dealer and grab your ankles..
