Actually, I don't want it, my dad does.
He's in his midlife, and I saw him looking at the new vette convertibles in consumer reports (so was my mom), and he's always wanted was a 69 vette, that has the rear bubble glass canopy, not the notchback, the one that doesn't have the metal bar going down the middle of the glass(like the 68 which does have the bar).
Eddie Munster (or the guy that played him) had exactly what I need, but in black. He sold it, it's on its 4th owner now. But I need the dusty light blue paint job (or I could get it painted).
I want to get it either by next father's day, this august (for my parents' 30th anniversary), or by next April for his 50th birthday. I don't care on the price, my dad is worth millions to me. I don't care on the engine (I'll probabbly bore and stroke it for him anyway). I don't care about the condition it's in, I'll tow it from the north pole if I have to.
If you know anyone that has one, or if you know of one of those used covette dealers, or if you have one you don't use much, LET ME KNOW!!!

that is like a "whoa" good luck man...
although if you dont care the condition than it shouldn't be EXTREMELY hard to find...
and btw.. the "bar" in the window is called the SPlit Window Coupe... and they are very rare...
but ill keep my eyes peeled for what your lookin for in the paper or in Auto Trader
