i have a new 2002 dodge ram 1500 2wd, and I am thinking of lifting it because it would look nicer. I wasjust wondering how much is a usual lift kit, i saw some ads saying that it would be like $1600 and others saying it would be $500 some one please help me i know nothing about lifting trucks.

I lifted my 96'black Ram. And yes,i've been very happy. Cost was cheap 3"body. The suspen.lift will cost you over 1000. requires more work/parts in your front end. backend is very simple.Look at a summit mag. Was very helpful for me. Do It :.)

Forgot 1 thing. If your going to lift, go 6". or don't waste your time. You can't notice just 3"

so a 6in suspension would be good? do you reccoend any scirtain type?ex. fabtech rancho...
