Has anyone taken off all the letters and ram heads off there trucks. Are any holes behind any of them? I'm thinking of using dental floss w/ a hair dryer and finishing of the residual glue with goo gone.Wax and a buff. If this is a wrong path to follow please advise. PICs would be nice if you have them.

Thanks Todd

ps. sorry if this thread was rambling,it's my first.

Todd,

you are on the right track....just take your time...it's not a quick job. I have used a nylon fishing line tied between two large washers for better grip.

Be sure to use a soft cloth (cotton minimally) when using the Goo Gone. Also follow-up with a plain Windex and a coat of good wax.

Good luck!

If you find one an eraser wheel does wonders on the blue left behind and it wont damage the paint at all. I used one to take of the 4x4 offroad decal that was on the sides of my bed. Took about 15 minutes to get both completely off. I wish i had found it before i took the lettering off and used my fingers for the glue stuff.
