Got my new car

Well this is the first time i have posted on this forum since i got rid of my crx. Well now i have a 89 civic 4 door DX. I payed 1400 for it. Ill have some pics up probly tonite as soon as my camera charges. I plan on a b16a1 for a motor. I should have the motor and everything to put it in mid to end of october. Im going to go ahead and wait to put the motor in for another month. Reason being is im gong to go ahead and get an intake manifold and a few other bolt ons and put them on while the motor is still out. And i also want to save up for the Thermal cat back since that is the only company that i can really find that makes exhaust for the sedans. If anybody has any suggestions on intake manifolds or if there is any other exhaust companies that anybody knows of let me know thanks.

itb's on a basically stock b16 would be worthless. just buy a regular cold air intake for 200 not 1000 for itb's.

damn, i would never pay 200 for a CIA. or even 50 LOL. Im a big fan of my cut airbox with k&n filter, and it looks better too.

I paid $200 for mine (yeah I was ripped) but does it look better than a stock air box... HELL YES!

i think i paid $150 with a K&N. B4 that i removed the box from the filter housing and fliped the bolts and removed the baffle plate(dpfi at the time) and it made a hell of a nice difference.

I have to work 10 hour days this week. I plan on stopping by tomarow tho to help jermy look at that motor. My camera is being a pile it turns on and off when ever it wants so i dont know what im going to do about pics.
