Buick 98 weird problems...

I have a 1998 Buick Regal LS that all of the sudden all this problems started to happen simultaneously. The A/C won't cool down, only blows hot air. Also the rear right door doesn't work, no response when the botton is pressed. Also the rear view mirror doesn't have any power coming to it.
Also the rear window defroster button in the radio console seems to be "ON" all the time because the little amber light is illuminated all the time. I think that there is an electrical problem that may connect all of this components but I'm not sure. Any help is very welcome.

Bad groun in the wiring harness???
Sounds complicated... Id start by looking at the power mirrors.... Maybe in the rubber hose that connects the door to the body, chekc for pinched or broken wires..

Thank you for the reply Bill. Sorry for the confusion but the mirror I'm talking about is not the ones at the doors. Is the one inside the car attached to the windshield. In my Buick this mirror is powered for the "Auto dimmer" feature. I order a Chilton book for my car so, I can hopefully find a wiring diagram on there that it will help me find my problem. One weir think also, that I want to mention is that I went on a trip for twelve days and I parked my car for those days. Before I left everything was in perfect conditions but when I return from my trip and went to get my car that's when I find out all this problems.

 Maybe, I don't know cause the car was parked at the airport parking lot. I was just wondering if there is a perhaps a relay that control all this components.

Do your power mirrors (the one son the door) work? If so i would say you could kind of rule out the relay. If you dont, then hmmm.. Do you have anyway to see if there is jucie getting to the power mirror? I knwo in the roadmasters they had a green idiot light at the bottom of the mirrior, along with lights. IF your regal has them, do the lights/idiot light work?

The power mirror has to lights in the bottom that don't come ON and also there is that green light you're talking about that doesn't light up either. As for the power mirrors on my doors, I haven't check if those are working. I'll take a look at those tomorrow to find out.

Well, When somebody figures out the lights on the bottom of the rear-view mirror problem, i'll fix mine. But I wonder....... Im assuming you have all other electrical abilites, such as blower motor, all dash lights, center roof light, radio, power locks...... I think the mirrors are on the same circuit though. and i dont knwo if you can, but if you push 2 buttons in (maybe the defrosts or something) both buttons may pop out, and leave all of them in the off posistion. See if you have the auto-dimming mirror or lights....

Everything else as far as I know is functioning accordingly like the dash lights, radio, center roof light, etc. I just wonder if the window regulator just went bad cause as you know this is a common problem with the buick, the weird thing is that it happen the same day everything else went bad too. As far as the power mirror I think that I'm just going to try to find a replacement anyway because the mirror auto dimming capabilities was starting to not work properly.

Well, thats a deffinet way to find out if the mirror went bad, Lmao.... And it could be; But i dont know how cheap those mirrors will be to pick up. But there so usefull, that they probally pay for themselves within the first week of not having to flip/flip/flip/flip switch between night and day, jsut one click and it does it for you. I might consider putting one of them on, But i Dont know.
But i did know about the regualtor......... i wonder if it wasnt a possibilty the mirror was getting a dirty dc signal or something from the alt.
But hey, anythigns possible

I just want to add some more info about my problem. When I first realize about all this problem happen at the same time, I suspected that a blown fuse could be involve. I went to the fuse box located in the passenger side and found a fuse for the "HVAC" system that was blowned.
I replaced the fuse but the problem didn't got fixed. So I decided to rule out the fuse. It wasn't until today that I decided that I wanted to look at the fuse box again just for the heck of it. To my surprise I find out that the "HVAC" fuse was blowned again. This definitely confirm that there is a problem in this sytem that could be the root cause of my problems.
Now, How you guys think I should start troubleshooting this problem? I took the air filter housing out so I can see in the A/C accumulator area wirings but I can't see anything wrong with the cables.
Also I forgot to mention that few weeks before my A/C stop working, I started hearing an strange noise coming from one of the passenger side air vents. A noise like something was loose in there and it was hitting the side walls of those canals when the A/C was "ON".

Now this is an area i have no idea on. I dont know if it does or not, but does the same problem when you use the heat??? I know nothing about a.c., but i would assume that it would use the blower motor also...... I'd say check that...... But I'd hit up tman2093 Hes a moderator, and very knowlageable.
