Alright so Katrina sucks hard. I had to drive through some water to get to my house in all this crap and my engine went dead immediately upon entering the puddle. The water wasnt very deep, I mean it didnt get in the car but it was substantial. So I let the engine and everything dry out for a few days and went back to crank it and all I'm getting is a clicking noise. So I checked the air filter flow nad the battery is fine. I have no clue what I need to be doing. The accessories work fine along with the radio. I have tried pushing it off but it wont. Also, while trying to crank it some of my wires were giving off smoke. Possibly a short somewhere......Please help me guys.

umm,, sounds like you got the water into your electrical system, which means your car could possibly be totaled, there was a guy that was in NJ visiting family and the sewer overflowed w/ sh!t water everywhere and his eclipse was halfway under and the insurance totaled it because the electrical system was screwed
if you sucked water, you probably just need a new engine, do you have a CAI?
