I realize a few of the pics appear to be duplicates, I was trying to capture the true depth of this color. I used this model as more of a photography exercise. At the risk of sounding full of myself, I think this is my best model yet. Questions and comments, please hit "reply!"

Beautiful! I love the current Vipers, and you have surely done it justice! I wouldn't mind seeing some brighter pictures... These seem a bit dark, and some sunny shots might bring out more of the orange flavor.

Anyways, great job, can't wait to see what's next!

That last pic is in full sunlight, but I know what you mean. It's a really hard color to capture. Next is the Millenium Yellow C6, all I have to do is put the final wetcoat on it but I'm out of eyedroppers so I have to wait to mix the paint (it's automotive stuff, kinda a pain in the rear) I still need to get some engine shots etc. I'll have more up later.

It's a combination. The hood, rear decklid etc. are polished, but the front and rear bumpers, mirrors, side inserts etc. aren't. I'm not very comfortable with polishing yet and I didn't trust myself to do the very complicated areas where I could sand through etc. The entire car is waxed, however. I think I just finally got the paint mix and pressure combo right with the airbrush, and this one came out rather well. That, and the paint itself was a dream. Worth every one of the 700+ pennies. I loved it so much I bought more to use on my Murcielago. I mean, top secret project. (OPI nail polish, available through most salons and some grocery stores)

spectacular job on the paint! I thought I only liked the new vipers in black, but because of you I've had a change of heart. Please keep up the good work, they get better everytime.
