Dash cleaner and protector/conditioner

Hey, I have a 1998 GT and wondering what people are using to clean the dash and keep it protected. I purchased this car used and it has this white look to it. Used a dab of water on a white towel and it quickly turned beige. I'm thinking the previous owners didn't care much for it. Please tell me what you are using that works well to CLEAN and to CONDITION or protect it. I have the dash apart from fixing the HUD so please respond ASAP as it is a most opportune time to clean it up good. Thanks a bunch...

Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Wipes. It cleans, moisturises & Protects.

Armor-all makes a series of wipes, one with cleaner, and another with protectant. I personally think that Tuff-Stuff is the best carpet and vinyl cleaner you can get. Both work well on vinyl, byt don't use either on real leather. Make sure you use specific leather cleaner like saddle soap or your leather will dry out and crack. I don't care what the product label says, Armor-All and Son-of-a-Gun protectants with Silicone will ruin your leather over time. The Silicones replace the natural oils in the leather, then evaporate and leave the leather dry and prone to cracks and splits.
