I was just curious if anyone could give some feedback on the powerslot rotors. My 2003 Eclipse needs new pads for the front so I was thinking of just upgrading the rotors to. Does anyone have them and if they do - do they like them better than the standard factory rotors? Also whats the cheapest place to get them on the net. There was this lady that had a deal on 3g racing for $375.00 for all 4 powerslot rotors with pads to. Still waiting to hear back from her.

i know people who have them (not on 3G's though) who are very satisfied. Basically all you need to worry about with a rotor is if it will warp or crack and these rotors seem not to. For your uses, powerslots should not perform any better than factory rotors. What pads are you looking at getting, thats a hell of a lot more important than the rotors.

Damn that does not sound like a bad I deal. I just got may rotors in the front and new pads ond the back and that alone was like 480 dollars. The are like $70 a piece for the front rotors and I believe like $170 a piece for the rear rotors (if i recall correctly) so if you can get hem for 375 for all do it.

I was thinking of getting some Hawk pads or Brembo pads.

i will disagree. i have the powerslot rotors and Hawk pads that i received from Jessica from PPS(Performance Parts Store). They are 100 times better than the stock piece of shit rotors. i can run 90 onto an offramp and stomp on the brakes. no vibrating, no steering wheel going all over the place. i abused these brakes for about 2 weeks straight just to see what they could handle....and they held up perfectly. even after about 15k miles, they still feel like the day i got them.

i will agree with this. thats the only downside to the Hawk pads. however, if you wash your car every weekend, then this wont be that big of a problem for you.
and for anybody wanting these....this is the best place to go IF you have a 3G eclipse.... http://www.club3g.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25719.
you will not be able to find a better price on these rotors anywhere on the net.

I just bought that brake deal from Jessica. I can't wait to get those rotors and pads on. I have to drive on the QEW next month and the average speed is about 90 mph. (LOL) So I can't wait to feel the new brakes. You can't beat that deal with a stick.

I have been using Powerslot rotors for about 3 years on a BWM 5 series I own. they have worked great for me though they do "growl" when you get on them. Nothing bad but louder than smooth rotors.
Good luck.
Curt.

just got my powerslot rotors and hawk pads. I am putting them on this Sunday. I can't wait to see how they perform. I went on a little spending spree this week. (LOL) I also got a new Alpine mp3 player, boston pro 60 components and a new amp. Life is good!
