22 volts?

on a 93' honda accord w/internal voltage regulator had fifth altenator go otu on my replaced with a diffrent brand (worldwide) replaced battery as well and now with engine off im reading 22 volts off battery and around 17 with engine running? im suspecting possibly the ecu or eld but i have no clue.

12v with car off. about 14v with car running. + or - 2v for both.

22v is wrong. you are either getting the wrong readings (what setting are you reading off of)? or, that is the wrong battery for your car.
