KA24E-T
KA24DE-T

:p The T just signifies that an aftermarket turbo was installed on the KA24DE or KA24E. KA24's never came turboed from the factory.

As far as mitsu codes go, there aren't actually any official Mits codes with t's in them, really.

The turbo 4g63 is still just a 4g63, the same as the non-turbo.

I believe this is also true of the 6g72. People add the t for clarification because the motors are internally different (CR, oil squirters, etc) but it is not actually part of the motor's official engine code.

On a note about the nissan codes, I was under the impression that the later Silvias (S15s, I think, but maybe it was S14s too) had variable valve timing, does the SR20VET come in those, or did nissan stick with the SR20det code for some reason?

True. Im having trouble finding out what the vvt function on the s14/s15 sr20det's does. I know however that it is not the same as nissans sr20ve with vvl. Youll have to search for yourself if you want a better explanation. VVL is different from the vvt though.

The 2006 C6 Z06 with the LS7 is rated at 505hp which should dyno out at about 450whp stock. The LS6 motor makes 405hp, C5 Z06s dyno in the 360-370whp range.

Cool stuff.
