My buddy and I are redoing the entire suspension on his 84 T/A and we want to make sure we get the sway bar combo that best compliments it. We figured you folks would have already tried some suggestions and know some paths that might work. Here's the setup so far:
Eibach coils F/R
Eibach trailing arms, polyurethane bushings
disc brake 7.5" axle
stock panhard rod (for now, maybe upgraded later)
KYB struts and shocks
polyurethane bushings front
front "wonderbar"... the thing that connects the two sway bar mounts
We're shooting for a very neutral car and we're currently running the same Goodyear GS-C tires at all four corners on (for now) stock 16" WS6 wheels. He has WS-6 bars front and rear now. It is a mostly stock car otherwise so assume a stock weight distribution. We also have a PST front bar if that would be of help, but all suggestions are welcome. Plans are in the works for an LS1 so a few pounds will come of the front, but part of the plan when that happens is to reduce weight elsewhere. Fine tuning of the handling at that point can probably be adjusted with front camber.
Suggestions on front/rear sway bars? The goal of the car is a neutral-handling, seriously-carving, street car that will be autocrossed several times a year.
By the way, it makes me jealous but he got a complete Wilwood brake kit for the car with billet aluminum four-piston calipers, rotors, billet hubs, bearings, braided brake hoses, the WORKS for darn near nothing through his job. It is just about the sweetest kit I've ever installed

Curtis you know I'd hook you up with any deals I could get. It's just the perks of my job. Gotta take advantage of them while they're available... If you want a set for the SS let's talk.
Not to add insult to injury- I got 3 of the 4 tires today.. the last one didn't make the UPS shipment, I'll get it tomorrow. Those Toyo's are sick! Means I have to drive the truck in tomorrow too. (waah) They'll be in the garage if you wanna check them out when you're in the neighborhood tomorrow. Take Kim out on the bike when you're there :)
If only I had permission to upload pics of the progress.... Oh, wait. You're a moderator. You can upload them! I'll snap some tonight.

And, true to his word, he did snap pics. This first one shows the new front setup with the KYB struts and Eibach springs. Tuske, I forget which Eibachs we put in there. Can you expand on things, B?

This next photo shows another look at it. Notice the billet aluminum 4-piston calipers, the billet aluminum hat and the nice o-ringed, threaded dust cap.

This shot shows the rear axle. Its a one-piece rotor with billet four-piston calipers. The whole setup is top-notch fabrication.

Tuske replaced the original rear axle with a disc style from a WS6 with a limited slip. The front kit shaves 30# of unsprung weight; 15 per side. I'll let him tell you about the engine. Its a healthy carbed small block, but an LS1 is probably in the future.
Tomorrow (sat) I'm headed up there to help finish it up. The brake lines and sway bars came this week, so by sat nite it should be carving.
