2" Body Lift Problems

Hey everybody I just installed a Performance Accessories 2" Body Lift in my truck and now i have a couple problems
Truck: 95, s-10,regular cab,4x4,short box, Auto
Everything works fine so far except two things.
When I try to turn it doesnt wanna turn
&
When I Push the brakes they are really tight but the truck stops really slowly when i push them all the way in
(Feels like they aint really workin much)
If anybody can help me with these problems i would really appreciate it!!!

Brakes= Check the emergency brake cable and see if its been pulled tight.
Turning = Check the steering column under the hood it may be binding where the two shafts splin together, you may have to take it apart and greese it.

***Fixed the brakes (Vacuum hose came off and was too short)*** YEY
Steering: I drove it and it steers fine it just feels like something is grinding inside of it some where

You probably have some binding going on. Drop the flange at the firewall about an inch and you'll be fine.

My steering had rough spots since the U-joints in the shaft weren't used to moving that far. Mine smoothed out after a couple weeks.
