Check out www.mmrusa.com
They can make a set of custom guage faces for any car, its about $130. All colors too. Im thinking about geting a blue face set with yellow lettering. They can also add letters, words, phrases, and cool Japanese letters. Anyways, its worth a look.

Great, somebody finally found a place to custom make gauges. I would be curious to see how many people are actually interested in getting a set and then maybe we could get a break on the price. I am also interested in seeing if anyone has been able to get the '02 sport model gauges ordered and for how much.

Are these gauges reliable....cuz i have friends who put aftermarket gauges in their stock and it messed up everything after awhile...like the fuel meter was not accurate....he would put a full tank but the meter would be somewhere else...and now he had to take the whole guage off....the whole back...so i dunno....comments?...Im oUT!:bandit: But MMR gauges does look aiite i guess... I would get dem if its reliable..

I am definitely ordering a set....But what I thnk they are is this: They are the faces, but they use the cars guages, like the needles and all. I think all they do is replace the black faces inside....I'll check it out. I dont think you have to replace anything when you install them, its like a switch-out.

I am sure they are just gauge overlays and not the actual gauge. I can't see how the overlay would cause the actual readout to be incorrect unless they were thicker and wedged the needle. I am also wondering about the illumination of these gauges - and the colors. I have a tan interior and I am not sure if any of the colors the white gauges come in would look good. Maybe red, or green to keep the illumination the same color? I am still not sure whether I will order a set or not.

those guages look okay, but who knows...it does say that they are replacements not overlays, and they are completely custom so their will be a wait
also, the reason why you see some aftermarket guages that gives out f*cked up readings and stuff, is because some of the kits require you to take off the needles, so when you put them back they become inaccurate or they just might not work at all

Do you have to take out the whole dash just to get to the gauges? because I was lookin around and couldnt find an easy way to get to the gauges if I was going to replace them. Thanks.

:o Install is pretty easy.
1. you take the 2 screws from inder your radio panel.(remove entire panel around radio).
2. the panel around and over your steering wheel there are some more screws that were hidden under step 1 that should now be visible. also the 2 screws in your cluster area pry gently.
caution on your rght side in american vehicles there's this small grill thing there is a screw holding this together it's a bitch to take apart so undo the plastic scrunchy type hose by tugung on it it's easier this way.
disconect all switches & you should be clear to pull over steering wheel.
btw its a bitch to take off the steering wheel then to re-align forget about it.
3.4screws around cluster make sure to use a screw driver with a magnetized tip it will save you from having to curse the screw from falling into crevices I did it so save yourself some heated moments, gently pulll cluster out don't yank.
4. unplug wiring harnesses in the rear of cluster try not to be ruff with the back of the cluster its like a thin motherboard & it's out!
remember were your screws go cause there are some longer than other's.
I think that's all if I forgot something someone will add it.
I will be doing a write up soon on this, I will be finished next week, the G is in the shop being detailed so I haven't had a chance to snap pic's.
