Does this look like a blown head gasket

I have pulled both my heads tonight to inspect for a suspected blown gasket. Unfortunately I have no idea what a blown head gasket looks like. Hoping somebody who knows what to look for can give me some feedback on the following photo's.

Thanks in advance for your help !!!

This is the left side head just removed from the block with the gasket still intact.

Another photo of the head with the gasket removed

Here is a closeup of the area that I think was the culprit of my overheating problem. This is a closeup of the head with the gasket still installed.

If your head gasket was blown, you'd be getting coolant in the cylinders and the engine would have started running rough.

If it's been overheating, it could be a head gasket, it could also be a thermostat.
Have you been losing coolant in the system?

As it stands, for me those photos are too dark to show anything, if you can get photos in daylight it sure would help a lot.

Also, which engine is that?

Those pictures do suck badly. Your flash may be off, resulting in long explosure and unsteady shot. Daytime photo would be great.

In the first and last photos, is that bare metal showing where your gasket should be? If so it's definately blown.

That's weird that's its blown in the same spot on both cylinders
