Okay, just been looking around the forums for about 10min to see what I could come up with

Anyways, I want to see what the aftermarket is like

so does anyone have some good websites to purchase some aftermarket parts

I am looking to help in breathe in, and out better

so what can I do as far as air intake and exhuast

and from what I can tell someone makes a chip for them
anyone got some more info on that?

what else can I do?

I kind of want to keep the stock look as far as body goes because I can't find any exterior mods that actually make it look nicer, maybe I am just lookin in the wrong places...ill put some pix up when i get a chance

What year is your SHO? If it's a first ('89-'91) or second ('92-'95) generation SHO, then Cincinnati SHO has some mods. They don't have much for the 3rd Gen ('96-'99). Their website is www.cincysho.com. You may want to check out the SHO enthusiast sites too, www.shotimes.com for the 1st and 2nd Gens, and www.v8sho.com for the 3rd Gen.

Get a Mustang if you want a vehicle with plenty of available "mods".

willyum thanks for being an idiot, i just want to upgrade a few things, not have "another" mustang, i didnt even plan on ever owning a ford, but i bought this thing and fell in love with it, i didn't say I wanted to fully mod it, just a few nice things

Towlie,
Did my message sound like I am an idiot? This forum is mostly at an adult level until people start calling responders names. Am trying to tell you that few speed or appearance items have been made for Ford Taurus' compared to the Mustang, is a fact. If you are into customizing and performance you have the wrong model. I think anyone into modding cars would realize cars that aren't modded as much don't have as big aftermarket, it's kind of logical, I came into a taurus forum wanting to talk about taurus SHO's, and you come in here talking about mustangs, how does that make ANY sense? completely irrelevant.. but anyways

THANKS DRDISIQUE for providing good information, that website has A LOT of good information

Why would anyone start anything?
Yea Towlie u needed help, but Willyum just threw a suggestion out there. No need to go insulting someone just because they said something which is irrelevant to this topic. You said:

"I came into a taurus forum wanting to talk about taurus SHO's, and you come in here talking about mustangs, how does that make ANY sense?"

and i am here to answer your question.

A) He didn't start a full discussion about Mustangs he just briefly mentioned it just to put an idea in your head.

B) You didn't really have to reply to him if you didnt want to

C) It does make sense because if you ARE looking for mods you wont find enough of them anymore. So he was saying that if mods is all you are looking for and if ur a super hardcore fan of mods.... you might want to look into a mustang... thats all he said... he wasnt trying to be mean, well i dont think anyways... but then you go running at the mouth, calling WillYum an idiot... that's really not nice!!! He was just trying to be helpful.

AND!!!!!!

"i didnt even plan on ever owning a ford, but i bought this thing and fell in love with it"

A) I am an owner of both 1989 Taurus GL and 1992 Taurus L and i gotta tell you, your SHO isn't that much different from my Taurus L... but i'd be able to find more mods for mine than for your SHO, because SHO owners now a days are left to scrub thru junk yards just to find parts... so are Taurus L owners but for the SHO it would take a lot more work trying to find parts than for the L.... so i don't know how many mods you will be able to find.

B) Why would you ever fall in love with the SHO?? I just don't get why anyone would??? (Can you reply to me telling me why you fell in love with your 92 Taurus SHO ... without calling me an idiot???)

so far this is what i've found for the car

Cold Air Induction Snorkel HiFlow Y-Pipe
80mm MAF HiFlow Catback System
Underdrive Pulleys w/ belt(s) Lifetime Performance Module
Hand Ported Intake Runners BigBore Butterflies
68mm Throttle Body w/ gasket RACE HYPERformance camshaft kit

and i just like driving the car, i think it has a nice look, and a nice feel when driving it, lots of knick knacks i like that i haven't gotten with the previous 9 cars i've had, like for instance, I have never had a 4 door, I have never had cup holders, i've never had an AC that is set by degrees, just little things, i like it, and all my friends who have rode in it like it. so it's not a lot but it's a start, anyways i really was just looking for a better intake and exhuast system, nothing more, I didn't ask "hey guys if i want a car with a good aftermarket availability what should I buy?" no I stated that I JUST bought this car, and wanted to see what's available, so no it doesn't make sense, that's like telling a honda guy if he wants torque, buy a nissan, or, if you want a fast car, buy a camaro.... I really don't know anyone who doesn't know that mustangs have a lot of aftermarket parts, even chicks who don't know anything about cars, know there's lot of "mods" whatever quote unquote is spose to mean. Also, just so u know, i've found a few different supercharger kits, as well as a few other mods here and there, but if you need to know just ask.

thanks for ur NON help

im gonna go find someone buying a car now and tell him to immediately go out and buy another one
