stripe opinions

Howdy guys i want to put a stripe kit on my car (which is purple so i was thinking silver stripes) and i was thinking of one of these two stripe kits, i know in the end it will be my decision, but i just wanted to see which one you guys perfer

would chrome wheels still go with the stripes that are silver? i wouldnt think so, but ive never seen it before either.

i like the flag stripes best, i never seen them before.

I say go with the stripes, because I think it would look better than the hockey stick on your 4th gen because its 93-97 and is more sharp than the 98-02 model

See it looks better on the late model Camaro than the early one.

thats what i was thinking the hockey stripes look better on the 98+ models, at first i saw that stripe set and was like yeah thats what i want, but the more i look at them the more i dont like them, then i saw the side flag and thought those were pretty cool and nobody i know of has those, which do you think would look better, the silver metallic or the reflective white?

White, on dark cars, unless it's black, white stripes is the best option to go. So white>silver

I'd get it reflective or whatever you can afford. What do you mean the cut out camaro better than it printed?

like you can have the "camaro" printed on the white stripe in the background color wich would be grey i think, or you could have it cut out so it shows the color of your paint. i dunno if that helps explain it or not ... well heres the quote from the page:

"First you can get printed copy. This means the word 'CAMARO' is printed in the same color as the shadow bands, black in the case of light colored vinyls like silver, gold, white, hugger orange, etc.
Secondly you can get cut copy, which means the paint of your car shows through for letters. This is what you do when you're getting black for your pewter car, so your lettering ends up pewter instead of white."

I get it, yeah if I were you i'd get it where it shows your color for the words Camaro and not it being just black.

i agree with almost everything execpt the white reflective, you could go with the silver i think that might look better, but i donno know, if lights shite on it like they show it the picture there it looks bad in the pic, maybe it (white reflective) will look better in person?

i believe that everyone has agreed on this already, now the dude is trying to find a color for it, keep in mind he has a purple car.

I think black would look good

hes got (im assuming) a dark color car tho. silver will look good, and chrome wheels wont mess the look up either.

black would look good, but i dont think it will stand out as much as silver.

I know I have a gold car. But I really think that the silver would give it to much bling bling

lol okay to buisness, silver will look the best on your purple, granted its the same purple as mine right? look at my sig. ive seriously been contemlating on the heritage pkg in svr for mine, but then i realized, my car dont stand out as much but with stripes it will. ive only been pulled over twice in four years. but i know if put stripes on my car, ima get pulled every chance they get. lol i cant outrun a radio...

well i have a 96 and im getting the hockey stick strip in red on mines, i think it looks sweet on the lt1 style cars, and im sure i will be the only person with it on a rs of my year. tht white lt1 looks sweet with it, but where he has lt1 at im gonna put philly rs there. that shit will look hot.

Lousiffer its pretty much the same color but mine might be a tad brighter, i could be wrong but in the sun it looks kinda bright but in the shade or dark it looks really dark, i think the paint is plum metallic (i am probably wrong on that). now that i think about it black wouldnt really look that bad, but in the shade or dark it would be hard to tell if i had any stripes on it at all, so im leaning towards the silver or white.

Philly, yeah i think that would look awesome on your car, but around here well in the town over, there is a guy with a red z26 (98+ model red with black stripes) with hockey stripes(the shorter ones), it rules, are you going to put the longer ones or shorter ones on it?

anyways on my link, did the silver look a little to dark to you? i dunno maybe its just me but it didnt look like it went with the stock wheels to well (which mine will have stock wheels till my tires go bad, which will be awhile), maybe thats just me though
