spec v automatic?

every nissan site i go to says the spec v has a mandatory 6 speed transmission. im confused. i thought that the spec v could be auto. i see them for sale as auto. are those misprints? i know SE-r has auto, but does the SPEC V?

maybe unless you custom order it for a lot more money, but in my opinion that would be dumb as hell. The thing that makes the spec v different from the ser is it's suspension, the minor cosmetics, and THE 6 SPEED TRANNY. So as far as I know there is no such thing as a spec v in an automatic. My guess is that if they are autos for sale, then the spec v logos are fake... and or the info. Since I got my spec v I always stop and look at others in the lot. Out of the 5 or 6 I have seen, I have never come across an auto spec.

o i agree, mine is 6 speed. but if you go to cars.com and look for some, they say automatic, and also show the pic of the auto shifter. im gonna go look at one and test drive it to see if its as fast.
