3.4L, gets about 15-16 mpg if I'm lucky, and that's being light on the pedal. Last time I filled her up was literally right before the hike at 2.72, cost about $40. Right when I got done filling they raised it to 2.80, and next day it became 2.99. Since then it's been sitting in the garage and I've been driving my Kia which is gettin nearly 40 mpg. It's a 1.8L and costs a little over $20 to fill up.

305, about 25 mpg around town. I don't fill up my car because I don't have, nor do I feel like dropping over 30 bucks at a gas station at one time. Gas is about 3.25 at the places that have it. Plus there is a this really hot chick that I'm talking to at the place I fill up. Less gas I put in, sooner i go back.

by the way... how much it costs to fill only has relevance to the persons local gas costs. Liek all 4th gens (well maybe not ls1s, cuz of a different tank) all have the same size tank and cost to fill will only vary with local gas prices

my miles are 95% city, and this city sucks. stop go traffic is unbearable.
I only make 24MPG and I have half as many cylinders. I'm glad I'm moving out of Miami soon.

Welllll... Since I'm not running it I don't know but back before gas got really ridiculous it was running $48 a tank (93+ only). And it got a friggin wonderful 8-ish mpg, I think there's a reason its that bad. Will find out in a few months after I get the valve lash checked, etc.

Hey, does your gauge read at full forever, then suddenly starts to just go down to empty pretty quick? Because that's what mine does, and I've found that once it reads a 1/4 low, you actually have 5.5 gallons left. So, that in turn means that you've used 10 gallons since then. Which is perfect for determining your gas mileage. Right after you fill up, reset your tripometer. Once your reach a 1/4 low, then look at your tripometer, and say it reads 183.1 miles. Well, your getting 18.31 mpg. I found the trippy gas gauge to be somewhat useful.

I just did the math and DAMN!!!! my car sucks on gas. I only get about 16 mpg on the highway. This blows and it takes $53 to fill up.

The gauges read funny because of the design/angle of the tank. Think of it being a V in shape. There more gas at the top than the bottom, so it takes the needle longer to go down, but once it's down it goes quick.

I hate how the gas reading always fluctuates; with mine.....I start and drive my car and have 1/4 of a tank. five minutes on the freeway and its almost empty. Not because my car wastes alot of gas, but because it never reads accurately.

Not too bad, they're alot better than the stock manifolds that choke the exhaust. I found them for a decent price, with a Y-pipe, so I picked 'em up.

Actually it isnt mostly because its innacurate, but because the gas tank on 3rd gens is shaped like a V so as the gas gets lower the quicker the needle seems to go down.
