My 97 taures is giving me some problems. I recently had to change my camshaft position sensor, and the sencranizer that it screws into. that went good, then I had to get a new battery, so I did and also bought a alternator, and chage it to. Now it starts good and seems to be ok. Now when i put it in drive, my RPM's go so low that my car wants to shut off. It starts to shake like it cant breath. it will stay running, but it wants to die, so i will put it back in drive or nuetral the RPM's will go back to the 1 but in drive it almost goes to the 0. Now I have the obd 2
and it passes all test, and the check engn light is not on but when i go to check the i/m monitors it says catalyst not ready, o2 sensor not ready, egr not ready.can you please help me out.

thanks Johnathan

The I/M Monitor parameters will not come back ready until after the car gets up to temperature and has been driven a few miles.

You might want to find a scan tool that can monitor the transmission codes datastream and check the readings for the torque converter and torque converter clutch. It sounds like you might have a stuck torque converter clutch which is loading the engine tremendously when in drive.
