Hesitation

Okay, i got the new engine in my stealth and everything, and there seems to be a hesitation in the engine in 2nd gear I feel it the most at 4000 RPM - 5000 RPM.. but after that it stops. What is causing this hesitation, could it be bad timing..? In 1st gear, I dont even feel a hesitation.. maybe it's an o2 censor.

check ur plugs and wires

yeah, maybe time for new plugs...or just regap them.

Get a really hot chick to ride shot-gun. ask her to not wear a bra, when the car starts to hessitate pump the gas a bit and hammer it, the car should start to shake and bounce a bit, swing a look over her way! it wont solve the problem but you'll feel alot better!

lol nice thought, 'cept thats called SEXUAL HARRASSMENT. I think the hesitation is enough trouble without a restraining order.

Anyways I don't think timing is the issue or you'd notice it constantly. What do you mean exactly by hesitation? Does the engine cut in and out, or just kind of lose power?

My car kinda hesitates/jerks sometimes when I'm trying to go into first as well. Do you guys think it's the plugs/plug wires as well? It doesn't hesitate everytime and when it does, it hesitates in the morning when it's cold as well as in the afternoon when it's hot so I can't really pinpoint the problem. Thoughts?
