PROBLEM WITH MY Grand A

I own a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am

95 3.1L V6
The car shuts off when i go down to the end of my street and i stop at the stop sign. It only happens when i dont drive it for a couple of days.
This morning when i turned it on i gave it some gas and it started to make a noise when i eased on the throttle a little then i did it again and it sounded fine

There a quite a few possibilities for causes. check to see if your getting enough fuel to the engine, such as a bad injector, low fuel pressure. Other things to look into is spark plugs/coil packs, and a vaccuum leak. But i'm still leaning towards a fuel issue. Does this happen ONLY when you first start it up after letting it sit or does it happen a couple more times down the road? Good luck and Welcome to the forums

Yes it only happens when i start the car.
after it warms up its fine.
