I'm trying to add another keyless remote to my 96 camry but I just can't do it alhough I had programmed my first keyless remote myself. I follow the instructions and everything looks OK (and keyless remote light is also OK) but whatever I do is just not working. Do I have delete mykeyless remote that I currently use first and then program them together? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Is it possible that there are other remotes programmed into the ECM that you don't know about? I believe there is a maximum of 4 possible (or some number like that). I would cancel all remotes and start with only the one in your hand.

You are right! An ECM can be operated by four remotes but I have no idea about how many remotes programmed into my car. Yet, I also do not how to delete or cancell all remotes that my car may have. Actually, I have already tried to do that but I was not successfull of deleting even my current remote. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Have you read the post about programming remotes in the FAQ thread? It might be in there.

I have read the FAQ's but there is no post about how to delete a remote although there is a few on how to set up one in general. I tried to delete my current remote as I programmed it, but it does not work. So, I guess it is time to go to a toyota dealer.
Thanks!

I don't think you have to delete any. The system should hold up to 4 remotes, and if you try to program #5, #1 would be deleted from memory if you were trying to program everything together.

You are programming the black RS3000 remote, right?

The remote I am trying to program is called the "gray remote." It is the same as the one I currently use and code numbers are also the same. Thanks.
