somebody pleeease tell me what the hell a u-bend delete is....

this is my first pontiac grand prix and i have never heard of a u-bend delete until i started upgrading it. i would be very grateful for any info you can give. thanks in advance.

also my car is the GTP with new exhaust and k&n short ram air intake.
